Double stamping

I wanted to try this technique from such a long time and I really don't know why I avoid it to make a mani with it. When Miriam - Nailtalk, encouraged me to do it, I took out all my stamping plates and seeked for a pattern that I thought it would look well stamped on each other. I used for the base a neon green polish from Letica Well, this is a Portuguese nail brand. I stamped on it with a white and then with a black polish a wave like pattern from the plate BPL-005 from the Born Pretty Store.

The stamping did not came out as clear and crisp as I wished but the weather was so hot when I've done this mani, that the polish dried instantly.

I hope you like this vibrant manicure. I am sure I am going to make other designs too with this technique, because I like the effect very much!

When you're reading this post I am already in vacation, so for a week I wont post anything and after that I hope I will come back with a lot of energy and new creative ideas. Have a great weekend and thank you for stopping by!

Fashion nails with Born Pretty Store decals

Today I have a wonderful water decal from the Born Pretty Store that can turn any plain color to look like a super fashionable manicure. The sheet I received contains different sized water decals with feminine, Audrey Hepburn figures in wonderful artistic tutus. When I saw them I knew that I am going to make a glamorous looking manicure.

On three of my nails I used a white base and on the other two nails I painted two coats of gold and silver glitter polish from Golden Rose - Jolly Jewels 122. After drying I added on the white base the cut out decals and finished it with a glossy top coat. Easy mani in no time!

I love these decals, even if the spelling is incorrect on the sheets but regardless of that they are easy to use and adding them on the nails you can achieve a glamorous looking mani. If you like these decals you can find them here and if you make any kind of purchase from the Born Pretty Store, you're welcome to use my bellow seen discount code!

The decals are on sale now. Don't miss them!

Colorful french

Because of the hot weather I am in the mood to were colorful clothing and nail art. My today's mani is a colorful french with a subtle holo print on it.

For the base I used two coats from my new 6 in 1 essence - nail candies, which is a light nude shade, perfect for a french base. This polish promises to  strengthen the nails, protect them, fill the ridges, to dry fast and live a glossy finish with a fruity smell. I can not tell you about the strengthening quality, because my nails are already strong, but I can tell you that it it applies super easy, dries fast and lives a sweet candy like smell.

I took out randomly from my stash a few colorful polishes and applied on each of my nail an another tip color. I won't list now each polish, if you have questions about them, just ask me in the comment box.

I applied after drying a subtle silver holo stamping pattern. Maybe I should have live it without, because the pattern is not visible!

All in all it is fun to were such a colorful manicure!

Have a great day and week. Thank you for stopping by!

Love for pink

I didn't used from quite a while any pink polishes on my nails and I really had the mood for them! So today's post is all about pink.

I used two polishes Essence - 106 Free Hugs which is a baby pink cream shade with a strong vibrant effect. It applies smoothly, in one coat get's opaque, but I used two as usual. The other pink polish is L'Oreal Color Riche - 201 Rose Paradise, a beautiful pale rose color, which I applied in three coats to get fully opaque. On it I put some water decals that I received from Andreea - Ditta's nail design & art.

I loved this mani very much, I think it is perfect for summer and because of the combination it is quite eye catching too! Sorry about my shiny skin, I applied some cuticle oil after finishing the manicure and I didn't waited enough to soak in.

How do you like this mani? Are you a pink polish fan?

Playing arround with polishes

Recently I saw a wonderful manicure on Pinterest with a gradient nail art and simply added on it a line of glitter polish. I decided to make it too, because I liked the effect very much. Of course mine didn't came out as I wished, but here it is.

I made a gradient with two beautiful polishes, a soft cream shade with a subtle hint of shimmer from Nails Inc - Elizabeth St. and the gel look purple polish from Moyra - No. 912. Than I used a glitter polish called Enjoy, I bought last year in Hungary and I added on the middle of each of my nail a line of it. The glitter particles didn't listened to me, they did not positioned themselves exactly how I wanted. So I had to try it with an another polish, and this time I used a holo polish from Orly - Explosion of fun.

I am not very satisfied with any of these results, but now I am very curious about your opinion!

Simple combinations are the best

I have many untried polishes from last year and one of them is the today's spot light. I am talking about the Yves Rocher - 62. Vert givre. This polish comes in a mini bottle, with a mini brush which I absolutely hate, I can barely hold it in my hands when I am polishing my nails. But the color and the texture of this polish makes it a loveable one. It took two coats for full coverage, but one is enough too, yet I like to apply two for a perfect opaque effect. The polish dried super fast and I've got this amazing, matte-shimmery textured finish that sparkles wonderfully in the sun! This is a perfect polish for summer, I don't understand why they sold it in the winter collection.

For my accent nail I used a holographic polish in two coats from Orly - Mirrorball and I stamped on it a simple flower pattern from the Born Pretty Store BP-34 plate.

I loved the outcome of this manicure, it looks simple and classy and it is with my favorite color, green!

How do you like it?

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Simple stamped nails

I am really bad with giving attractive post titles :(

From the time I've got the double stamper from the Born Pretty Store, I am loving more and more to stamp my nails. Today I have a very simple manicure. I used for the base Kiko form the Sugar Mat collection - 635 Wisteria which is a light purple/gray shade, with fine sugar like texture. It dries quite fast and get's opaque in two coats. I don't like the brush of this polish, it is very thick and because of this, application can be messy.

Even if I loved this texture I decided to stamp on it a simple grid pattern, with the Q girl - Q 10 plate and the metallic silver polish from BarryM. I finished it with a matte top coat, that unfortunately reduced the visibility of the sugar like texture.

How do you like the result? Do you like to stamp on textured polishes?

Thank you for your comment and for stopping by!

Green day

It is a hot summer, this is why bright colors are a must on my nails. I took my green Flormar 007 polish that I won from Unforesseable and combined it with a yellow acrylic color.

The Flormar polish is from the Neon collection, but in my opinion this is not as bright to call it a neon shade. The formula is OK, it covers in two coats and the finish of it is a cream glossy one. The drying time is average.

As an accent nail I painted a sun like pattern with acrylic colors. A big help was a nail art brush that I recently bought from the Born Pretty Store. This brush has a bamboo handle and it is perfect for detailed nail art.

These tattoos can be addictive. You can find them here

I hope you like my fun looking summer nail art and if you like the brush than you can find it here and if you purchase anything from the Born Pretty Store, you're welcome to use my bellow seen discount code.
